Reporting the Director of Infrastructure and Cloud Services, the Junior IT Security Analyst will play a key role supporting the organization’s Security Operations Center and Infrastructure team. This role’s focus will be to enforce and improve the organization’s security posture. In this position, you will assist with threat analysis, intrusion detection/prevention, systems/user audits, penetration testing, tabletop exercises, and other security centric initiatives.

Responsibilities:
• Collaborate on design, implementation, and analysis of all aspects of IT security.
• Troubleshoot and respond to security related tickets and request via the internal ticketing system or SOC’s ticketing system.
• Detecting and responding to emerging threats/incidents to anticipate problems and take corrective action when failure/disaster occurs.
• Undertake security related investigations/forensic analysis.
• Coordinate with centralized Service Desk, IT Operations and Infrastructure for streamlined support delivery.
• Provide input to various internal IT teams on the approval and deployment of business applications.
• Assist in the development of policies, processes, and standardizations, and accompanying documentation.
• Ensure proper operation and segregation of in-store technologies like camera and security systems, phone systems, paging systems, digital signage, kiosks, tablets, Wi-Fi, key machines, and POS systems (i.e. all networked equipment).
• Perform periodic role and user access reviews.
• Partner with IT management, infrastructure, and other internal teams to uphold data protection and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1+ years of experience in Information Technology operations, preferably in automotive, multi-branch, or multi-unit retail.
• Experience or knowledge on performing systems and user audits using formalized best practices and methodologies.
Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in productivity suites such as Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
• Familiarity with networking fundamentals and connectivity troubleshooting (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi).
• Experience, knowledge, or willingness to learn about Meraki networking environments and monitoring network usage.
• Experience with, or willingness to learn, security focused solutions and tools such as Sentinel One, SumoLogic, and Obsidian
• Ability to review and analyze system generate logs.

• Remain updated on the latest security trends and threats.
• Able to prioritize tasks and manage workloads independently and effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience supporting automotive dealerships or service centers.
• Working towards or have obtained one or more IT security certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Network+, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), CISSP, CISA, or other IT security certification.
• Familiarity with ticketing and endpoint management tools (e.g., ManageEngine, Autopilot, Intune).
